Where the company happens to be registered to , the site is Linked to 3rd Party Booking websites like Booking.com and Expedia.com where if and when a booking is made I earn a commission However commission has to reach an amount of €100 before it is paid The Company I started as I was hoping it would develop and be my main income when I worked in the hotel sector and was cut to a 3 day week in 2009. I qualified for the enterprise Ireland Innovation voucher , this to be successful meant I had to register as a company, Prior to this I was a sole trader . As the company does not make a profit currently, however I do not want to lose my website as I have put hours of work into it . My Earnings were for 2011 and 2012 €134.91 this was paid by booking .com and was the commission for Bookings made , There are no Employees , I am the sole operator of www.findabed.ie and The secretary happens to be my partner. The Company is VAT registered and I claim Vat back on mobile Phone accounts for my partner and myself and both are named under Findabed Limited. On My Home Broadband , on Hosting fees and Yearly renewal fee's to Hosting 365 and any stationery or Ink I Purchase . My Vat returns on a two Month basis average at Approx. €60.00, The company does not have any assets or a Bank Account . As all bills are paid directly from my personal account , this is where vat returns were also made, as this was the process I used when I was a Sole Trader.
