Detailed description of the works I have a bungalow with an upstairs den. The den is not well insulated and the cold air from there comes down through the door at the bottom of the stairs into the house. I want to have a hinged hatch halfway up the stairs with insulation board on the top of it as I think this could make a difference to the warmth in the house
