Detailed description of the works New build, the house is roughly 20m long and 10m wide, ridge height 8.4m. All timbers are finished on the main roof and dormers i.e. membrane and batons on everywhere. High quality timber work in place, and spot on and 9 x 2 rafters used everywhere. 5 roof lights cut out of baton work already and just need to be slotted in, all roof light kits ready and 2 roof lights are in already. Roof vents to be fitted also (6 to do, 2 in) they are provided also (standard slate size, no extra cutting of slate needed). Chimney in, pots on and plastered (finished), lead in around chimney done. All materials are provided i.e. slates, storm trim, slate hooks etc, slate nails etc. I just need a slating labour price to finish this job quickly to move on to the next phase. Must have own roofing etc tools and weather gear. One price for slating, and one price for facia/soffit and guttering. No day rates/price only. Roughly 4000 slate or less in all, some good long straight runs involved. Cash waiting and can be paid at stages or at end of job, options available. It’s a rural job, just outside Ballygurteen so no parking headaches. Electricity on-site with site connection. Photos of current roof status can be provided.
